How do I add a WhatsApp link to my bio?

To add a WhatsApp link to your bio, use a click-to-chat link in the format https://wa.me/<number>, where <number> is your full phone number in international format with no +, spaces, or dashes. For example, a UK number +44 7700 900123 becomes https://wa.me/447700900123. Tapping it opens a new WhatsApp chat with you.

You can also pre-fill a message by adding ?text=, e.g. https://wa.me/447700900123?text=Hi, which is handy for bookings or enquiries.

Add it to your link-in-bio page

Most social profiles only allow one link, so the easiest way to share WhatsApp alongside everything else is to put it on a link-in-bio page:

  1. Create your wa.me link as above.
  2. Add a link block to your page labelled something clear, like "Message me on WhatsApp".
  3. Publish, and share your single link-in-bio URL in your bio.
