How many links should I have in my link in bio?

As a guideline, aim for around four to seven links in your bio. Few enough that the page stays scannable, but enough to cover your key destinations. The exact number matters less than the order: whatever you most want people to do should sit at the very top.

Why fewer is usually better

When a page offers too many choices, visitors often pick none - a effect sometimes called choice paralysis. A short, ordered list makes the decision easy and lifts your click-through rate.

How to decide what stays

  • Keep your single top priority, your shop or main offer, a way to follow or subscribe, and your most important social links.
  • Cut anything outdated, duplicated, or rarely clicked.
  • Group related links so the page reads in clear sections rather than one long pile.

Let the data decide

If you're unsure, turn on analytics and watch which links actually get tapped. Promote the winners, remove the dead weight, and revisit every month. You can always add more later - start lean, then expand only when there's a reason to. Build your page for free.
